We are seeking a Coil Loader and Loop Operator to join our team at Ideal Tridon – Wesanco in Garden Grove, California. Work Schedule: Monday – Friday (1st) Sunday – Thursday (3rd Shift) Shift: 1st Shift – 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Shift: 3rd Shift – 10:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. Hourly Pay Rate: $25.49+ $1.50 Shift Differential for 3rd Shift Position Summary Working in a manufacturing environment that may include dust, debris, loud noise, and varying temperatures. Perform various tasks involved in coil loading and loop operation, including but not limited to setting up and operating production equipment, handling raw materials and finished products, packing parts, and utilizing hand tools and packaging materials. Employees must follow all applicable safety procedures to prevent injuries and product damage while ensuring quality standards are maintained throughout the manufacturing process. Mandatory overtime is an essential function of this position. Employees must be willing and able to work overtime, extended shifts, weekends, and schedule adjustments as required to meet production demands.

Nice To Haves

  • Forklift certification preferred; training and certification may be provided.
  • One (1) year of manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Experience operating production equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble and fabricate metal parts by operating manufacturing equipment.
  • Load steel coils into production machinery and monitor production flow.
  • Use machine-operated welders to create continuity between new material and work-in-process (WIP) product.
  • Assemble parts into subassemblies or completed units.
  • Operate forklifts, Combi-Lifts, and overhead cranes to transport and restock steel coils and materials.
  • Monitor machine performance and make minor adjustments to maintain efficient production.
  • Perform basic preventative maintenance and housekeeping duties to ensure equipment capability.
  • Take measurements and conduct quality inspections to ensure products meet specifications.
  • Properly handle, package, and stage finished goods.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
  • Follow all company safety, quality, and operational procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
