About The Position

This position is responsible for maintaining the production schedule, ensuring quality checks are performed to meet engineering requirements, and maintaining a safe and clean work area. The role involves performing daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance tasks, completing production and quality documentation, and making adjustments to produce quality bends of tube. The Coil Fabricator will operate controls, manage production workload to minimize tooling changes and maximize throughput, and ensure materials, parts, and workmanship comply with engineering requirements and production expectations.

Able to understand and follow all MAP’s, PAP’s TMI’s, TPI’s, and SOP’s that pertain to the product
Able to complete all documents pertaining to the process
Safe operation of all overhead lifting cranes and jib booms
Basic shop math (i.e. add/subtract/divide/multiply, whole numbers and fractions)
Read a tape measure to within 1/16”
High School diploma or GED equivalent
Good communication skills, both written and verbal
Able to read and understand all engineering prints related to the process

Nice To Haves

A general understanding of common hand tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

Maintain production schedule
Make quality checks to ensure materials, parts and process are compliant with engineering requirements
Maintain a safe and clean work area
Perform daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance PM’s that are the operators’ responsibility
Complete all production and quality documentation
Able to make stop and mandrel adjustments to produce quality bends of tube
Able to operate controls
Manage production workload to minimize tooling changes and maximize throughput
Make quality checks to ensure materials, parts and workmanship are compliant with engineering requirements and productions expectations
