About The Position

The Role As our Coffee Shop Attendant (Barista), you’ll be responsible for preparing and serving high‑quality coffee, beverages, and light food items while delivering genuine, friendly service. You’ll help create an inviting atmosphere for hotel guests and locals alike, ensuring each visit starts or ends on a positive note. You’ll represent the hotel with professionalism, accuracy, and hospitality while maintaining a clean, efficient, and welcoming café environment.

Requirements

  • Previous barista, café, or customer service experience is preferred
  • Knowledge of espresso machines and coffee preparation is a plus
  • Friendly, positive, and guest‑focused attitude
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment while staying organized
  • Attention to detail and consistency in drink preparation
  • Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic
  • Willingness to work mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve specialty coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and other beverages
  • Greet guests warmly and provide friendly, attentive service
  • Accurately take orders, process payments, and handle cash or POS transactions
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee shop, including equipment and displays
  • Stock and replenish coffee, food items, and supplies
  • Follow recipes, presentation standards, and food safety guidelines
  • Answer guest questions about menu items and make recommendations
  • Work collaboratively with team members to support smooth daily operations
  • Uphold hotel service standards and brand expectations
  • Assist with opening and/or closing duties as assigned
