About The Position

The Galley Coffee bar & Café Prep Associate, you will create the PH Experience for our Residents and family members by providing prompt service, quality beverages and products, and maintaining a clean and comfortable store environment. You will be responsible for modeling and acting in accordance with PH guiding culture. Preferred Schedule: About 24 hours per week, consisting of either Friday, Saturday, and Sunday shifts or Saturday, Sunday, and Monday shifts.

Requirements

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years of age to legally sell and/or serve alcohol in a restaurant within the State of Florida.
• Must have good organizational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Must be a detail-oriented person and able to perform duties with great accuracy daily.
• Must have excellent personal skills, demonstrating the ability to conduct oneself in a non-controversial style; a style that inspires the respect of others and promotes a sense of trust in the individual’s competence.
• Must have good communication skills, speaking, writing, and listening.
• Must be fluent in English.
• Must have good computer skills with the ability to learn and use proprietary software as required.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in customer service is preferred but not required.
• ServSafe certification is preferred to ensure adherence to food safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Greet Residents warmly and create a welcoming atmosphere.
• Take orders and process payments efficiently.
• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages, following recipes and standards.
• Prepare and assemble food items, including sandwiches, ensuring quality and consistency.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of all menu items and be able to make recommendations to customers.
• Ensure the store is clean, organized, and well-stocked.
• Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth operations and a positive work environment.
• Promote and upsell additional products and services to enhance the Resident experience.
