About The Position

Baptist Health is hiring a Coding Supervisor to join our Physician Coding team in Jacksonville, FL. The Coding Supervisor will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of the assigned coding team, ensuring efficient charge management, denial resolution, and adherence to regulatory requirements. This role also involves serving as a subject matter expert, developing training materials, and educating staff and providers on coding and billing practices.

Requirements

• 3-5 Years Coding Experience Required
• 1-2 years Leadership Experience Required
• 1-2 years Outpatient Coding Experience Required
• 1-2 years Medical Billing Experience Required
• Knowledge of regulatory protocols. Required
• High School Diploma Required
• CPC Certification or CCS-P Certification Required

Responsibilities

• Assists the PB Coding Manager in effectively and efficiently supervising and coordinating the day to day operations of the assigned coding team
• Effectively monitors and manages outstanding charges and coding denials while adhering to regulatory requirements
• Serves as a subject matter expert in coding-related matters and collaborates on the preparation of written and verbal training materials to ensure consistent application of coding concepts
• Participates in developing and conducting education to staff and providers regarding coding and billing issues within assigned specialties.
