About The Position
The Center for Sports Medicine and Orthopaedics is seeking a remote Coding Specialist for a full-time position. The Center for Sports Medicine & Orthopaedics is Chattanooga's leading provider of multi-specialty orthopaedic care since 1979, with 12 convenient locations in Chattanooga, North Georgia, and the surrounding area. They offer advanced sports medicine, orthopaedics, surgery, physical and occupational therapy, and sports training.
Requirements
- Professional Coding Certification required (CPC required / CPMA preferred)
- Excellent customer service skills required
Nice To Haves
- Minimum one year experience in medical billing/coding preferred
- Exposure to carriers, medical terminology, ICD-10, CPT and Ambulatory Surgery Center coding highly preferred
- Spine coding or ACS preferred
