About The Position

The Coding Specialist Lead oversees and monitors performance, provides training and coordinator workflow for the assigned coding staff. Responsible for accurate and timely assignment and review of professional coding related to ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS codes for multi-specialty groups.

Requirements

• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• High School Diploma or equivalency.
• Certified Professional Coding Designation (CPC) or equivalent certification required.
• 2 years Multi-Specialty Coding.
• 2 years Supervisory experience.
• 2 years EPIC experience.
• Knowledge of payor contractual agreements/fee schedule.
• Intermediate oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a multi-tasked environment with frequent interruptions.
• Must be well organized and detail-oriented.
• Excellent organizational, analytical and time management skills.
• Type at least 45 WPM.
• 10-key proficient.
• Basic computer knowledge including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Requires manual dexterity to use computer, telephone and peripherals.
• Must maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times.

Responsibilities
