Requirements

• Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Nice To Haves

• Medical claims payment and processing experience preferred.
• Familiarity with insurance and medical terminology preferred.
• Experience using Midas & EPIC desired.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the oversight, analysis, and management of coding and DRG denial data across the health system.
• Supports accurate reimbursement and compliance by manually collecting, organizing, and analyzing denial data.
• Prepares reports and identifies trends to reduce future denials.
• Collaborates regularly with coding, CDI, revenue cycle, and clinical teams to resolve denials, support appeals, and ensure data integrity in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards.

Benefits

• Compensation for the role is $62,361 -$77,951 per year.
• The range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
