Requirements

Experience with Tig/Mig welding on aluminum and steel is required.
Strong mechanical aptitude.
Proficient welder.
Ability to inspect trucks and trailers for DOT safety requirements.
Ability to compile inspection reports.
Ability to track parts and materials.
Ability to ensure quality standards are met.
Ability to maintain a safe and clean work area.

Responsibilities

Perform fabrication and welding on tanker trailers.
Weld using Tig/Mig on aluminum and steel.
Inspect the overall condition of trucks and trailers to ensure they meet U.S. Department of Transportation's safety requirements.
Compile inspection reports detailing findings.
Track all parts and materials used in repairs or replacements.
Ensure the final work product meets quality standards.
Maintain a safe and clean work area for customers and co-workers.
