About The Position

Model Cocktail Server, Zouk is responsible for beverage service of all VIP tables and seating areas in a high-volume restaurant, bar, lounge or pool. This role involves greeting, serving, and interacting with guests courteously and in a timely manner with an upbeat attitude. The position requires responding to guest inquiries, requests, concerns, and complaints regarding beverages, and resolving them in a courteous and respectful manner. Anticipating guest needs and informing them about venues, menus, specials, pricing, and directions is also a key aspect of this role. The server must have a strong knowledge of portion control and product identification, as well as knowledge of food, beverages, and other company functions and services. Recognizing and cultivating regular guests and repeat business is important. Maintaining line of sight/atmosphere control by circulating through the work area throughout the shift, organizing and prioritizing service per appropriate service sequence, and ensuring prompt delivery of all beverages to appropriate tables and assigned work area(s) are also primary duties. The role requires compliance with all safety and health department procedures and all state and federal liquor laws. Additionally, participation in in-house modeling programs, special casino events, banquet service functions, marketing campaigns, and advertising, and performing model/presenter tasks is expected. This includes posing for pictures as requested by management, appearing in uniform or designated apparel for promotional activities, and participating in marketing, publicity, or media materials. Maintaining social platforms as indicated by management, posting events, communications, and participating in marketing campaigns via social media are also part of the responsibilities. The ability to submit guests to the venue's guest list, table reservations, and focus on the development of a personal clientele list is required. Obtaining and maintaining position-specific licensing and using a personal device/cellular phone for job-related operational tasks, job duties, and review of company documents are also necessary. Requirements

  • Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English.
  • Polished appearance and demeanor.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to obtain maintain full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules and regulations, policies and procedures.
  • At least 21 years of age.
  • At least one year of customer service experience.
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
  • Food Handler Card
  • Alcohol Awareness Card
  • Nevada Gaming Registration
  • Must be tolerant to varying conditions of noise level, temperature, illumination and air quality.
  • Prolonged sitting/standing.
  • Bending and reaching.
  • Transporting, pushing, pulling, lifting and maneuvering items weighing up to 15 lbs.
  • Eye/hand coordination.
  • Ability to comply with Policies and Procedures, Job Description, daily memorandums, chemical labels (SDS) and other instructions.

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of POS system (ex: Micros, UrVenue, etc.).
  • Employ with safe alcohol service, sanitation and safety protocol.
  • Strong knowledge of spirits, wine, champagne, beer and mixed cocktails.
  • Previous experience working in a dayclub and or nightclub.
  • Previous experience modeling and beverage presentation.
  • Previous experience working in a large, luxury resort setting.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain Social platforms as indicated by management; post events, communications and participate in marketing campaigns via social media.
  • Ability to submit guest to the venues guest list, table reservations and focus on the development of personal clientele list.
  • Obtain and maintain position-specific licensing.
