About The Position

ATCS's Construction Services group is expanding in Maryland and is seeking NACE Level I or II certified Coatings Inspectors. The role involves inspecting protective coating systems on steel and concrete structures for highway, bridge, and facilities projects throughout Maryland. The position requires field work and travel to required sites, along with maintaining inspection documentation and coordinating with project teams to support compliance and quality assurance.

The position offers $19.23 to $50 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications, and is eligible for an annual bonus targeted at 2% of annualized salary. Full-time employees are eligible for benefits beginning on the first day of the month following their start date. Requirements

• At least 1 year of full-time coatings inspection experience.
• NACE Level I Coating Inspection Certification.
• Valid driver's license.
• Willingness to travel throughout Maryland as required.
• A vehicle in good working condition to report to any required work site.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• NACE Level II Coating Inspection Certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform field inspections of protective coating systems on steel and concrete structures for highway, bridge, and facilities projects.
• Maintain accurate inspection records, daily logs, and photographic documentation.
• Coordinate with field crews, contractors, and engineering teams to ensure compliance.
• Support Quality Assurance initiatives.
