About The Position
The Coating Lab Technician performs process and product release testing in the Alloys Coating/PT Lab in support of the Plant Quality Policy. The position supports the Coating Line, Wash Line, Five-Stand Mill, and Finishing Production Areas.
Requirements
- Required high school diploma or equivalent
Nice To Haves
- Preferred college level courses, 2 years of junior college or degree with emphasis on science. Q.C.
- Laboratory experience is helpful.
Responsibilities
- Product release testing (including samples) for coated, waxed, and lubed coils.
- Releases product to the next operation/ship within guidlelines or holds for retest /disposition
- Process testing with timely feedback to production to efficiently control the function
- Documnets lab activities including retain samples
