About The Position

We are seeking a dependable, safety-focused team member to support our manufacturing operations by producing high-quality parts in a timely manner. This role works cross-functionally with multiple departments and plays a key part in maintaining our standards for quality, safety, and efficiency. Responsibilities include operating hand spray guns to apply coatings to foam, carbon fiber, and other components, as well as performing screen printing and other manufacturing tasks as needed. This department is the starting point of our production process, so the ability to manage time, prioritize work, and maintain a strong sense of urgency is essential to keep production on schedule and support downstream operations. In this hands-on position, you will learn and follow established procedures for: Machine and equipment operations - Paint guns, Blueprint and work instruction interpretation, Inspection and quality checks, Equipment maintenance, Department documentation (prints, work orders, etc.), Housekeeping and safety practices. Prior blueprint reading experience is a plus but not required. Nice To Haves

Prior blueprint reading experience
Prior CNC experience
Prior manufacturing/construction/laborer experience is preferred

Responsibilities

Read and understand product requirements to produce quality parts through work orders, work instructions, and blueprints.
Utilize proper housekeeping procedures; keep the department clean and organized at all times.
Follow safe work practices (safety glasses, protective shoes, etc.)
Accurate use of measuring devices
Communicate improvement ideas and suggestions to team leaders or management regarding process, procedures, materials, environment, etc.
Follow directions given.
Properly use materials to maximize production.
Utilize good communication verbally and in writing to communicate with co-workers and management.
Utilize and comply with the Quality Management System
Self-inspect parts to ensure quality requirements and specs are met.
Ensure quality at the source by noticing and reporting defects in products or documentation, whether done by the operator or someone else
Follow proper NCR procedure when a non-conforming part is encountered.
Perform other duties as assigned.
