About The Position
Sumitomo is looking for a Coating Operator to join our growing team. This role involves operating and setting up one or more PVD coating machines to perform machine operations on highly repetitive and standardized parts. With technical guidance, the operator will keep coating department machinery and mechanical equipment in good repair and must follow company standards. The operator will also communicate any production problems with the team lead and/or supervisor.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic math, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Mechanical aptitude (follow work instructions, use basic hand tools)
- Ability to learn the operation of the coating equipment
Responsibilities

- Follow company standards that are currently in place.
