Coating Manufacturing Engineer Intern
About The Position
Keysight is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer intern to join its Coating engineering team and help introduce new products into advanced optics and interferometer production. The role involves adapting new technologies and turning advanced engineering designs into valuable, manufacturable products, particularly through optical coating and related process development. The intern will develop new coating processes and support Production in meeting state-of-the-art requirements for next-generation interferometer assemblies. The role also contributes to optical coating process development, yield improvements, and process troubleshooting. The intern will apply a background in Physics and Optical Engineering to improve optical processes, work with process engineers and technicians to keep production flowing, and interface with product development and R&D teams on coatings for new products.
Requirements
- Major in Physics, Optical Engineering, Material Science, or a similar technical field.
- Sponsorship is not available for this role.
Responsibilities
