About The Position

STM, an AMTRACO Company, is seeking a 2nd Shift Coating Specialist to operate coating equipment, mix adhesives, and ensure safe and efficient production of high-performance adhesive products. This role is ideal for individuals with manufacturing, printing, or machine operation experience who enjoy working with machinery, following processes, and contributing to a team.

Requirements

• A strong commitment to safety and following established procedures.
• Willingness and ability to learn coating equipment operation and adhesive mixing processes.
• Attention to detail when following recipes, handling materials, and recording production information.
• Clear communication, dependable teamwork, and a willingness to take initiative.
• An understanding of LEAN manufacturing principles, including reducing waste and keeping work areas organized.
• Relevant experience: Machine operation, printing, coating, chemical mixing, or manufacturing production.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor coating equipment used to manufacture adhesive tape.
• Follow recipes and production instructions to mix batches of adhesives in our chemical mixing area.
• Use your machine operation or printing experience to help keep equipment running properly.
• Maintain accurate production and material records.
• Coordinate with other departments to keep supplies and materials available.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Support other production activities and help teammates meet daily production needs.
• Help deliver quality products that meet customer expectations.
