About The Position

This position involves handling and processing glass safely and efficiently, performing equipment checks and preventative maintenance before shifts, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment through 5S principles. The role requires professional conduct with coworkers, accountability for actions, and the ability to comprehend the coater schedule. Any reasonable duties as assigned will also be part of the role.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Prior work experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Computer literate and good organizational skills.
• Mechanically inclined.
• Must be proactive and able to think quickly on his/her feet.
• Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
• Ability to operate motorized equipment.
• Position requires regular, in-person attendance at the plant.
• Ability to work with and as part of a team including but not limited to the Plant Manager, managers, employees throughout Cardinal, and vendor partnerships.
• Ability to exercise good judgement in decision making, ideas, and all aspects relating to the plant team, Cardinal and other company relationships.
• Maintain professional appearance and conduct, exhibiting a respectful and courteous demeanor at all times.

• Perform all equipment checks and PM’s prior to shift start.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment through 5S.
• Conduct yourself in a professional manner with co-workers.

• Any reasonable duty as assigned.
