About The Position

This position is responsible for conformal coating and bonding assemblies, including processing a variety of backplanes using assembly-specific documentation. The role involves working with chemicals such as IPA, acetone, urethane, and coating materials, while following process-control specifications and department safety rules. The position may require overtime to provide coverage on alternate shifts and weekends, and may include other duties as requested, directed, or assigned. Candidates must be able to legally work in the United States and meet the job posting’s U.S.-person eligibility requirement. Requirements

High school diploma or GED, or one to three months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and follow short sheets and customer documents.
Ability to stand for extended periods and safely lift up to 25 pounds.
Excellent communication skills and the ability and flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; sponsorship is unavailable.
Must meet the stated U.S.-person requirement: U.S. citizenship or resident alien status, as defined in the posting.

Current IPC-A-610 certification.

Responsibilities

Perform coating operations, including masking, unmasking, and touchup.
Use assembly-specific documentation, including routes, bills of material, and prints, to process a variety of backplanes.
Work with chemicals such as IPA, acetone, urethane, and coating materials.
Understand and follow all process-control specifications.
Perform in-process inspections and apply acceptance and rejection criteria.
Actively participate in continuous-improvement work.
Comply with department-specific safety rules and general Amphenol policies.
Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
