About The Position

The Coalitions Intern works with Pacific Legal Foundation’s Coalitions team, supporting both Non-Profit Partnerships and Private Sector Partnerships, with a primary focus on Private Sector Partnerships. The team connects PLF’s legal and policy expertise with external partners to advance its goals. Private-sector partnerships help PLF understand legal and regulatory challenges facing industries, identify potential clients and cases, expand the reach of its work, and build policy coalitions around shared priorities. The intern will work across PLF departments, including litigation, state and federal policy, strategic research, and communications. The role supports industry relationships and partnership initiatives through research, preparation of materials, outreach coordination, and contact-management tasks. Interns work remotely by default and may request to work from one of PLF’s offices. Optional travel to select external events may be available. The position is part time at approximately 24 hours per week and is part of the paid Koch Internship Program, which also requires attendance at all online and on-site program sessions.
