About The Position

The Koch Internship Program (KIP) is a paid experiential learning program run by Stand Together Fellowships. It provides professional development, leadership training, and work experience at nonprofit organizations addressing policy challenges. The Coalitions Intern will work with Pacific Legal Foundation (PLF), a national nonprofit law firm that uses litigation, communications, and research to defend individual liberty and constitutional limits on government power. Interns work remotely by default, with the option to request work from a PLF office. This position is part time at 24 hours per week. The intern will support both the Non-Profit Partnerships and Private Sector Partnerships areas of PLF’s Coalitions team, primarily supporting Private Sector Partnerships. The intern will work across PLF departments, including litigation, state and federal policy, strategic research, and communications, to support relationships and initiatives advancing PLF’s mission. The program is intended for early-career professionals, including undergraduate, graduate, and law students and recent graduates. Candidates must be located in and authorized to work in the United States throughout the program. The role may include optional travel to select external events.
