About The Position

Soccer Shots DFW South is a youth soccer organization for children aged 2-8 years old that operates in childcare centers, preschools, and public spaces. We are seeking enthusiastic and responsible coaches who have a passion for impacting children through the game of soccer. This role offers a unique opportunity to be part of a community that prioritizes relationships, culture, and fun, where coaches can be creative and encouraging. As a Soccer Shots coach, you will be the primary representative of our organization, leading 30-45 minute soccer sessions for children in various community locations. The role requires creating an exceptional experience for each child, demonstrating enthusiasm, responsibility, and a love for children and soccer. While the job is fun, it also demands high expectations and a commitment to making a difference. Successful candidates will have experience working with children and a desire to contribute positively to the community.

Requirements

Experience working with children.
Must have your own reliable car.
Ability to work with little supervision.
Commitment to a minimum of one year.
Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

Run 30-45 minute soccer sessions for children at schools, parks, and public spaces.
Create an awesome experience for each and every child.
Coach a minimum of 30-35 sessions per week when in season (seasons occur 40+ weeks out of the year).
Take initiative with administrative tasks to continue to scale and grow the business when not coaching.
Coach Saturday mornings.
Pass a Child Abuse History Clearance and background check.
Be reliable and punctual for all scheduled sessions.
Commit to a minimum of one year in the role.
Communicate effectively with children, parents, partners, and colleagues.
