About The Position

Culver Academies is a private boarding school seeking Athletic Coaches for the 36 sports offered. The school is located in Culver, Indiana, on the shore of Lake Maxinkuckee, with a 1,800-acre campus. Culver aims to educate students for leadership and responsible citizenship by developing the whole individual. They are looking for diverse talent to support their mission and enrich the learning environment, strengthening their organizational leadership with passionate faculty and staff dedicated to serving students.

Requirements

Substantial coaching experience, as well as playing experience, preferably at the collegiate level.
A commitment to modeling Culver’s mission and cultivating character.
Deep passion for and knowledge of the game that you are coaching.
A willingness to develop professionally and continually improve as a coach.
Ability to interact and communicate effectively with other coaches, teachers, parents, and athletic department staff.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
A clear vision concerning what it means/takes to build and maintain a successful athletic program.
Enthusiasm, a positive attitude, and a passion for teaching and coaching.
