About The Position

Soccer Shots DFW South is a youth soccer organization for children aged 2-8 years old that operates in childcare centers, preschools, and public spaces. They are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join their team as coaches. The role involves running 30-45 minute soccer sessions, creating a positive experience for children, and acting as the face of the organization in the community. While the job is fun and impactful, it also requires responsibility and high expectations. Coaches will be provided with curriculum, equipment, and apparel, and are expected to bring their own enthusiasm and love for children and soccer. The position requires a commitment of at least one year, the ability to work with little supervision, and reliable transportation. Coaches will be expected to coach a minimum of 30-35 sessions per week during the 40+ weeks of the year when seasons are active. During non-coaching periods, initiative is expected for administrative tasks to support business growth. Coaching Saturday mornings is also a requirement. The organization emphasizes making a difference in children's lives through sports, education, and positive role modeling.

Requirements

Must pass a Child Abuse History Clearance and background check.
Must have your own reliable car.
Ability to work with little supervision.
Commitment to a minimum of one year.
Experience working with children.
Enthusiasm, responsibility, and love for children and soccer.
Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities
