About The Position

Marlborough Public Schools is hiring coaches for high school and middle school spring-season sports during the 2026–27 school year. The season runs from March 15, 2027, to June 11, 2027. High school positions include head coach, assistant coach, junior varsity coach, and Unified Sports roles across baseball, lacrosse, outdoor track, softball, volleyball, and tennis. Middle school positions are available for baseball, softball, and outdoor track. Stipends depend on the sport season taking place: no stipend is paid if a sport is cancelled in full, and a stipend may be prorated if a sport is cancelled for part of the season.

Coaches oversee team management, coaching, and development; create practice plans; and manage games. Where applicable, they assist with hiring varsity assistants and sub-varsity staff, and perform other duties as directed by the Director of Athletics. Offers are contingent on passing required state and federal background checks and submitting a completed Workplace Accommodation Information form. Applications are due March 1, 2027. • Have previous coaching and/or playing experience at a minimum of the high school level.
