About The Position

This role supports the Head Coach in managing the boys' soccer program. The First Assistant Coach assumes the responsibilities of the Head Coach in their absence and is responsible for a specific team within the program as assigned. This position requires loyalty to the coach and team, and the ability to align with the Head Coach's overall strategy. The role involves attending meetings, covering scouting trips, assisting with equipment management, and adhering to athletic department policies.

Ability to assist the Head Coach in a manner that is most beneficial to the entire program.
Ability to assume responsibility for the development and guidance of a specific team.
Willingness to attend all meetings requested by the Athletic administrator or Head Coach.
Willingness to cover scouting trips.
Willingness to assist with equipment check-in at the end of the season.
Adherence to Athletic Department policies and operating procedures.

Responsibilities

Assume the responsibilities as head coach in the absence of the Head Coach.
Direct and assume responsibility for the area of the program assigned by the Head Coach.
Support the Head Coach in conducting the athletic program of that particular sport and the total athletic program.
Be loyal to the coach and to the team.
Give up some of his/her own thoughts to conform to the overall pattern as set forth by the Head Coach.
Assist the Head Coach in a manner which will be most beneficial to the entire program.
Assume the responsibility for the development and guidance of a specific team within the total program as assigned by the Head Coach.
Attend all meetings requested by the Athletic administrator or Head Coach.
Cover scouting trips requested by the Head Coach.
Assist the Head Coach in checking in all equipment at the end of the season.
Abide by the Athletic Department policies and operating procedures.
Perform other coaching-related duties as directed by the Head Coach, Athletic Administrator or Principal.
