About The Position

The Assistant Boys Soccer Coach will assist at all three levels of the soccer program. This role involves managing various aspects of the high school program, including the summer program, tryouts, practice schedules, and routines. The coach will support the head coach in developing a strong program focused on relationships and results, maintain regular communication with parents/families, and track the academic progress of student athletes to ensure their eligibility. The position also requires cooperation with other school-sponsored sports, encouragement of multi-sport participation, development of an off-season program, coordination with the local youth program, and engagement with local media and community support groups.

Responsibilities

  • Assist at all three levels of the boys soccer program.
  • Manage all aspects of the high school program including summer program, tryouts, practice schedules, and routines.
  • Support the head coach in the development of a strong program, built on relationships and results.
  • Provide regular communication with parents/families.
  • Regularly track the academic progress of all student athletes in the program and facilitate necessary support systems to ensure their academic eligibility.
  • Cooperate with other school-sponsored sports and encourage athletes to compete in other programs.
  • Work with Head Coach to develop and implement an off-season program for athletics.
  • Help coordinate with the local youth program below the 9th grade level.
  • Work with local media as needed and establish strong working relationships with community support groups.

Benefits

  • Stipend: Group D Extra-Duty 26-27 Stipend Schedule TBD (25-26 stipend $4551 - $5057) per season
