About The Position
The University of Denver Sturm College of Law, known for its strong experiential education, offers a DU Bar Success program for its graduates. This program provides comprehensive bar preparation, including workshops, mock exams, individualized feedback, and coaching. The program aims to help graduates stay on track and maximize their learning experience through one-on-one coaching.
Requirements
- A JD or equivalent legal degree
- Outstanding written and oral communications skills
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and providing comments on word documents
- Licensed to practice law in any jurisdiction
Nice To Haves
- Experience in higher education, teaching, instructional design, cognitive science, counseling, and affiliated fields.
- Licensed to practice law in Colorado
Responsibilities
- Work closely with and support the Program Director and Assistant Director.
- Meet routinely with students and graduates to coach through bar exam preparation.
- Track individual meetings, document bar studier learning progress, and other information relevant to bar coaching.
- If desired, proctor mock bar exams with a physical presence at the law school.
