A well-established small animal hospital in Westchester County, New York is seeking an experienced veterinarian who aspires to become a practice owner. This opportunity offers the chance to step into a partnership role, build ownership, and help shape the future of a successful hospital that has served its community for nearly 30 years. As a Partner DVM, you will continue practicing medicine while helping guide the hospital’s direction, support and develop the team, and participate meaningfully in the practice’s long-term performance and growth.

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree or equivalent
• Active New York veterinary license or ability to obtain one
• 5+ years of small animal clinical experience preferred
• Ability to independently manage appointments and surgery
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Interest in practice ownership and long-term veterinary leadership

Responsibilities

• Establish and uphold medical standards and practice protocols
• Guide case management and clinical decision-making
• Ensure high-quality patient care and clear client communication
• Oversee medical record accuracy and appropriate charge capture
• Identify opportunities to expand services and patient-care offerings
• Support hiring and onboarding of veterinarians and support staff
• Mentor associate veterinarians and support team development
• Contribute to operational strategy and scheduling efficiency
• Foster a collaborative, team-first culture
• Help drive revenue growth while maintaining medical excellence
• Participate in annual planning and performance review
• Support marketing and community-engagement initiatives
• Participate in the continued growth and long-term success of the practice
