About The Position

Our Toronto office is looking for a Co-op Student or Intern to join the Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) and Capital Markets team from January to April 2027. This is a net new role and the successful candidate will own the following responsibilities: Prepare pitch-books and presentation documents in connection with business development initiatives, Perform market, industry and company research supporting live engagements, Prepare lists of potential buyers and acquisition targets, Assist with drafting of marketing documentation (i.e. Confidential Information Memorandums), Assist with various financial analysis as required including financial modelling and comparable company analyses; and Participate in due diligence processes.

Requirements

  • Enrolled in a post-secondary business program with an emphasis in accounting or finance
  • Strong interest in Mergers and Acquisitions
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to perform analytical work accurately, often under time pressure
  • Developed communication skills and a strong ability to collaborate with team members
  • Strong aptitude for Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to prioritize competing priorities with varying deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced deals environment
