Co-op Student: Mining Engineering (June 2027 start)
About The Position
Luck Companies is seeking Co-op Students for the Mining Engineering Department. This program is designed to build your career with a company that values safety, people, continuous improvement, and operational excellence. The co-op experience will involve projects related to Mining Engineering, with Luck Companies collaborating with the university to ensure students gain experience in both the corporate and field environments of the aggregate industry. Students will work Summer 2027 (June-Aug), return to school for their Fall semester, and then work for Luck Companies for the calendar year of Jan 2028-Dec 2028.
Requirements
- Current full-time student at a partnering university
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new software
Responsibilities
- Support location Mining Engineering projects aligned with strategic objectives-based schooling knowledge and analysis of existing operations and company practices.
- Support and contribute to location business plan and the mine plan.
- Analyze, inform, and recommend innovative practices for operations regarding products, processes, people, and technology, using data analytics.
