About The Position

Our Toronto office is looking for Co-op or Intern Students to join the International Tax team for a 4-month opportunity starting in May 2027. This is a net new role and responsibilities will include applying relevant technical knowledge acquired through tax courses to assignments under the direction of a manager or senior tax team member, completing personal tax returns, contributing to compliance projects, and working on other tax assignments following standardized BDO procedures. You will also develop project management skills by providing senior tax team members with timelines and status updates, monitoring individual time spent on each file, and reporting any concerns that might impact these items. Additionally, you will build client relationships through communication, client contact, and responding to client requests.

Requirements

Currently working towards a degree/diploma, focused in accounting.
Desire to provide outstanding client service and a commitment to teamwork.
Proven leadership skill and ability to take initiative to seek understanding.
Strong problem solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities
