This role will contribute to design and drawing updates, testing, and various other technical deliverables.

Requirements

  • Pursuing an Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Biomedical Engineering, or equivalent.
  • First time Co-ops as well as candidates with experience will be considered.

  • Demonstrated ability with 3D Modeling (Creo 7.0 is preferred)
  • Proficient problem-solving skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Flexible team player who is organized, dependable, and proactive
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

Responsibilities

  • Perform design and drawing updates to support engineering activities
  • Collaborate to develop design solutions to technical challenges with other mechanical team members (engineers, designers, technicians, etc.)
  • Support design efforts through modeling, prototyping, drawing release, and into production
  • Support the project team with the testing of products
  • Troubleshoot problems and participate in root cause investigations
