About The Position

This position supports the Lean team in daily activities and contributes to continuous improvement initiatives within production operations. The role is divided into: General Tasks (50%) and Main Project (50%).

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field
  • Maintain a 2.5 GPA or higher per semester
  • Intermediate Knowledge of LEAN practices
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal, analytical, written and verbal communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to develop and evaluate standards and procedures
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship by the company

Nice To Haves

  • Microsoft Office experience preferred
  • Microsoft Power BI, Automate, and related software preferred

Responsibilities

  • Support the Lean team in day-to-day activities
  • Perform 5S audits following standards
  • Update or create Work Instructions
  • Participate in and/or conduct Lean activities such as: Jishukens, Time Studies, Gemba Walks
  • Collect current CT for all ENC production lines to improve output
  • Scrap/Rework Improvement Plan – Alamo Final Assembly: Data collection and analysis, Development of improvement plan
  • Value Stream Analysis and Mapping – FF1 Ford ECU: Co-lead the VSM analysis of the FF1 Ford ECU product, Perform all time studies required for the VSM, Document the VSM, including all actions, Co-lead the follow-up of all actions identified during the VSM
