The Quantitative Medicine and Clinical Technologies (QMCT) group uses an applied systems science model to incorporate multi-scale computational modeling and simulation along with experimental medicine studies and the development and industrialization of novel clinical technologies to bring specific value to development and discovery; catalyzing the organization towards a human-centric transformative quantitative biology strategy for drug development / discovery. QMCT includes platforms in clinical technologies (including digital and internet of things approaches), quantitative medicine, advanced modeling/analytics and experimental medicine and relies on robust interfaces with groups across the Biogen enterprise and broadly in the external environment. This role will support collecting and processing of data generated from internal Human Biology Lab studies. Responsibilities include digital assessment of functional endpoints (include one or two examples) used in clinical studies and assist with collecting data for QMCT internal Human Biology Studies. In this role, you will obtain experience working with the Quantitative Biology team within QMCT. You will also become familiar with working in a matrix environment and expand your knowledge of medicine, especially with respect to diagnostic measures in relevant disease and clinical trial design. You will also gain experience with the design and running of clinical research studies as well as Good Clinical Practice procedures.
