About The Position

Schaeffler is a dynamic global technology company with an entrepreneurial spirit and a long history of private ownership. As a partner to major automobile manufacturers, as well as key players in the aerospace and industrial sectors, Schaeffler offers many development opportunities. This co-op position provides developmental opportunities through tasks such as projects, job-rotation, hands-on training, and exposure to Schaeffler's manufacturing and technological processes. Participants will be given a project description during the onboarding process, with examples including defining and documenting process parameters, supporting design efforts for product development, and quantifying and leading actions needed for scrap reduction. Participants should be responsible, able to work independently, and open to instruction. They will also be expected to know and understand the current specifications of the Quality Policy and Procedures and contribute to the achievement of the quality objectives.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be pursuing an academic degree
• Maintain a 2.5 GPA or higher per semester
• Experience in Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent communication ability (written &verbal)
• Extremely self-motivated & driven to achieve results
• Assertive approach to solving problems
• Ability to prioritize
• External applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment VISA or other sponsorship
