About The Position

Schaeffler is a dynamic global technology company with a history of private ownership and an entrepreneurial spirit. As a partner to major automobile manufacturers, as well as key players in the aerospace and industrial sectors, Schaeffler offers numerous development opportunities. This co-op position provides developmental opportunities through tasks such as projects, job-rotation, hands-on training, and exposure to Schaeffler's manufacturing and technological processes. Participants will be given a project description during onboarding, with examples including defining and documenting process parameters, supporting design efforts for product development, and quantifying and leading actions for scrap reduction. Participants should be responsible, able to work independently, and open to instruction. They will also be expected to know and understand the current specifications of the Quality Policy and Procedures and contribute to achieving quality objectives.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be pursuing an academic degree
  • Maintain a 2.5 GPA or higher per semester
  • Experience in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent communication ability (written & verbal)
  • Extremely self-motivated & driven to achieve results
  • Assertive approach to solving problems
  • Ability to prioritize
  • The ability to sit at a workstation for extended periods, and lift and move thirty pounds
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment VISA or other sponsorship
