The Fall 2026 — Engineering Co-op is open for future engineers and builders who want to work with us. Depending on your background and team placement, you might work on: Autonomous systems — guidance, control, and navigation software for unmanned platforms; Embedded firmware and real-time software for flight and drive systems; Mechanical and structural design, manufacturing, and test of hardware components; Propulsion, energetics, or systems integration for new defense platforms; Tools, infrastructure, and simulations that accelerate engineering velocity.
Requirements
- Enrollment in a BS, MS, or PhD program in mechanical, aerospace, electrical, computer science, or a related engineering discipline
- Intellectual curiosity and the drive to own problems end-to-end
- Genuine interest in defense technology, national security, or the future of autonomous systems
Responsibilities
- Work on autonomous systems — guidance, control, and navigation software for unmanned platforms
- Work on embedded firmware and real-time software for flight and drive systems
- Work on mechanical and structural design, manufacturing, and test of hardware components
- Work on propulsion, energetics, or systems integration for new defense platforms
- Work on tools, infrastructure, and simulations that accelerate engineering velocity
