About The Position

Skillz, the first publicly-traded mobile eSports platform that hosts billions of casual mobile gaming tournaments for millions of players worldwide, is revolutionizing the gaming industry. By fostering social competition within games, the Skillz platform helps developers build multi-million dollar franchises by enabling real-money activity in their games and providing operational support while connecting players through fair, enjoyable, and meaningful competition. This is a Co-Op program for current graduate and undergraduate students who are set to graduate within one year of starting the program. The program is scheduled to begin in June 2026 and will run through December 2026. This position requires relocation to Las Vegas for the duration of the program. The role will be in-office, 5 days a week, with a commitment of 40 hours per week. Flexibility will be provided to accommodate any school courses during the program.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field [gpa 3.5+ preferred]
  • Experience in videography or graphic design so that they can be self sufficient and support other departments as needed (i.e. in-house videographer for company-wide events).
  • Editing Experience
  • Resizing for social platforms
  • Running a 3rd Party Accounts.
  • Creative-minded individuals with a passion for gaming.
  • Must be self-starter and creative thinker who is personable and able to learn the business and industry holistically.
  • Push the limits on Social, Brings executable ideas to the forefront and able to push the envelope of creativity.
  • Ability to deliver high quality content in a timely manner.
  • Comfortability capturing content at live events.
  • Basic knowledge of emerging social media trends and emerging platforms
  • Ability to meet deadlines, and create a monthly calendar.

Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day content creation, scheduling, and campaign execution across key platforms
  • Develop social and video assets, enabling faster turnaround times, consistent brand execution, and increased creative testing.
  • Produce video, graphics, gamified, and copy for all consumer channels (Meta, Tik Tok, X, etc.).
  • Stay abreast on social media trends
  • Help the communications organization reach departmental KPIs in content frequency, follower growth, and engagement increases
