Engineering Conventional Trucks is part of Trucks Technology & Industrial Division (TTI), a division of Volvo Group North America, providing state-of-the-art research, engineering, product planning and project execution to final delivery of complete products and support of the products in the aftermarket. Engineering Conventional Trucks is responsible for the integration and development of technologies into a complete truck for all brands within the Volvo Group. Requirements

  • Must be enrolled and pursuing a degree in Engineering or Technology at an accredited school and have completed 30 semester hours of undergraduate studies.
  • Applicants must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.75.
  • Co-ops are not enrolled in academic courses during their co-op rotation and may work up to 40 hours per week

Responsibilities

  • Review and support engineering design change requests.
  • Quality documentation support.
  • Support and evaluate performance of project health.
  • Help to minimize disturbances in project implementation by steering improvements.
  • Aid in ensuring projects is delivered on time with the agreed quality, cost, and features according to the requested volumes and production capacity.
  • Support with identifying and managing risks with risk mitigation plans.
  • Utilize Microsoft tools to create reports and dashboards (i.e.: Power App, Power BI)
  • Support the Project Management Office (PMO) in their day-to-day activities.
  • Support on deviations and campaigns documentation controlling and participate in the x-functional meeting representing PMO
