About The Position

Easterseals PORT Health is seeking a full-time Community Support Team Co-Occurring Disorder Specialist in Raleigh, NC. This role involves providing comprehensive services to individuals with mental health or substance use disorders, including conducting substance abuse assessments, using outreach and motivational interviewing, facilitating Person-Centered Planning, providing structured interventions, and offering psychosocial rehabilitative interventions and case coordination. The position is community-based, with services provided in clients' homes and surrounding areas.

Requirements

Bachelo's degree or Master's degree.
Must be certified as a CCS, LCAS, LCASA, CSAC or CADC.
Able to be credentialed as a Mental Health Qualified Professional.
A valid driver's license, current auto insurance and a good driving record.
Demonstrate high moral and ethical character, and be free of any substantiated charges of abuse or neglect on the NC Healthcare Registry.

Nice To Haves

A human services degree is preferred.
Certification as a medical administrative technician or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide services to individuals with a mental health or substance use disorder who meet two life domains.
Conduct comprehensive substance abuse assessments.
Use outreach and motivational interviewing techniques to work with individuals in earlier stages of change readiness.
Facilitate the Person-Centered Planning process.
Provide structured face-to-face interventions.
Provide psychosocial rehabilitative interventions and case coordination.
Carry out a full range of treatment functions wherever and whenever needed in a community setting.
Participate in the crisis phone rotation.
