About The Position

The Co-Manager is responsible for all aspects of the day-to-day supervision of the store, working in conjunction with field leadership and the Store Manager. The role focuses on generating sales and profit while controlling expenses and inventory, acquiring and developing personnel, maintaining visual standards, and building the Böhme brand. The Co-Manager also maintains authority for store operations and delegates responsibilities as necessary.

Requirements

Minimum high school education or equivalent.
At least two years of retail management experience or equivalent education.
Ability to count and perform retail mathematical equations.
Excellent organization, verbal, and written skills.
Ability to use POS and other store computer applications.

Responsibilities

Maintain full staffing for all store positions through hiring and promotion, with succession planning alongside the Store Manager.
Recruit, recommend, and interview potential candidates for all store positions.
Recognize performance issues and potential violations of company policies and procedures, and take appropriate disciplinary action when necessary.
Develop staff work schedules, which may include scheduling meal and break periods, overtime, schedule reductions, and resolving scheduling issues.
Train, supervise, develop, and motivate sales staff to achieve store sales goals, alongside the Co-Manager's individual sales goals.
Participate in weekly management meetings.
Promote and motivate staff during company sales contests.
Ensure merchandise presentation is maintained as directed by field leadership and the merchandising team.
Achieve predetermined payroll budgets.
Resolve customer service concerns professionally.
Supervise and maintain cash-handling and banking procedures, and ensure proper and timely accounting of cash flow.
Stay current on and train staff in POS usage and related in-store technology.
Secure Böhme assets and property, and maintain loss-prevention and operational standards.
Maintain authority over all aspects of the store and delegate responsibilities as needed.
Establish good working relationships with customers, mall representatives, and personnel at other stores.
Keep the cash wrap and backroom clean and organized.
Work one Sunday shift per month.
Perform other duties as assigned.
