About The Position

This opportunity resides with Warfare Systems (WS), a business group within HII’s Mission Technologies division. Warfare Systems comprises cyber and mission IT; electronic warfare; and C5ISR systems. WS is seeking a mission driven CNO Reverse Engineer – Level 2 that is well suited to solve complex technical challenges across defense, intelligence, and secure technology environments. In this role, you will contribute to the development of mission-critical cyber capabilities, drive excellence in CNO development and lead efforts in advanced Computer Network Operations (CNO) to safeguard national security systems.

Requirements

  • BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Network Engineering, or related field.
  • 10 years relevant experience (or 15 years without BS).
  • Five (5) years of demonstrated experience in either hardware or software reverse engineering.
  • Experience programming in Assembly, C, C++, Java, Perl, or Python.
  • TS/SCI Security Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph

Nice To Haves

  • Experience developing CNO Capabilities
  • Experience with networking (TCP/IP) and socket-level programming
  • Experience with Malware Analysis
  • Experience with Software Forensics
  • Experience in low-level internals on one or more platforms (e.g., Windows, Unix, mobile, or network devices)

Responsibilities

  • Perform Reverse Engineering of Hardware Components and Software Applications to design and develop new bleeding edge CNO software.
  • Use software version control tools (e.g., Subversion and CVS).
  • Communicate project status to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Utilize tools and techniques such as IDA Pro, Ghidra, OllyDbg, and other industry-standard software for hardware and software analysis.
  • Provide/author and participate in technical presentations on assigned projects.
