This opportunity resides with Warfare Systems (WS), a business group within HII’s Mission Technologies division. Warfare Systems comprises cyber and mission IT; electronic warfare; and C5ISR systems. WS is seeking a mission driven CNO Reverse Engineer – Level 2 that is well suited to solve complex technical challenges across defense, intelligence, and secure technology environments. In this role, you will contribute to the development of mission-critical cyber capabilities, drive excellence in CNO development and lead efforts in advanced Computer Network Operations (CNO) to safeguard national security systems.

Requirements

BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Network Engineering, or related field.
10 years relevant experience (or 15 years without BS).
Five (5) years of demonstrated experience in either hardware or software reverse engineering.
Experience programming in Assembly, C, C++, Java, Perl, or Python.
TS/SCI Security Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph

Nice To Haves

Experience developing CNO Capabilities
Experience with networking (TCP/IP) and socket-level programming
Experience with Malware Analysis
Experience with Software Forensics
Experience in low-level internals on one or more platforms (e.g., Windows, Unix, mobile, or network devices)

Responsibilities

Perform Reverse Engineering of Hardware Components and Software Applications to design and develop new bleeding edge CNO software.
Use software version control tools (e.g., Subversion and CVS).
Communicate project status to leadership and stakeholders.
Utilize tools and techniques such as IDA Pro, Ghidra, OllyDbg, and other industry-standard software for hardware and software analysis.
Provide/author and participate in technical presentations on assigned projects.
