About The Position
Artera Technologies, LLC performs extensive vulnerability research and security risk assessment of our clients’ various embedded devices and firmware. When applicable, we develop specially crafted solutions such as embedded device capabilities.
Requirements
- Strong C programming and Python development experience is required.
- Experience programming in Assembly, C, C#, C++, Java, Perl or Python
- Experience developing Windows applications using Visual Studio or .NET environments OR minimum one (1) year experience developing UNIX applications using makefiles or comparable build environments.
- Familiarity with software version control tools (i.e. Subversion, CVS, etc.)
- Able to debug software and troubleshoot issues.
- Unix/Linux development experience

- Networking experience
- Software Analysis/Reverse Engineering experience
- Embedded systems development experience
- Understand assembly programming concepts (PowerPC preferred, but x86 accepted)
- Debugging Windows programs (windbg)
- Knowledge or proficiency with JavaScript
- Makefile experience
- Microservice architecture knowledge
- RabbitMQ experience / Message exchange knowledge
- Docker experience
- Backbone / Marionette experience
Responsibilities
- Programming in Assembly, C/C++, Python, using CNO tools and techniques.
- Developing Windows applications using Visual Studio or .NET environments.
- Developing UNIX applications using make files or comparable build environments.
- Developing applications for Cisco, Juniper, Android, Apple iOS.
- Developing network related programs (e.g., packet level).
- Expert ability in Unix and/or Windows low-level internals.
