This opportunity resides with Warfare Systems (WS), a business group within HII’s Mission Technologies division. Warfare Systems comprises cyber and mission IT; electronic warfare; and C5ISR systems. WS is seeking a senior level CNO Analyst/Engineer to support National Defense efforts who is able to design, write, and execute software test plans, has experience with configuration management, IP management, and troubleshooting, is able to replicate real world network and system scenarios in a lab environment, and demonstrates technical writing skills capable of accurately describing lab design, tool usages, and tool testing procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in Network Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science or related field.
  • Nine years relevant experience (or 13 years without BS).
  • Six (6) years’ experience in computer science, information systems, or network engineering.
  • Three (3) years’ experience with system (Windows, Linux, and Solaris) and network administration.
  • Three (3) years of experience with network protocols, network routing devices, computer security devices, security architecture, methodologies and tools.
  • TS/SCI Security Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph

Nice To Haves

  • Certifications in MCSE, RHCE, CEH, CCNA, or CISSP preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Design, write, and execute software test plans.
  • Experience with configuration management, IP management, and troubleshooting.
  • Replicate real world network and system scenarios in a lab environment.
  • Demonstrates technical writing skills capable of accurately describing lab design, tool usages, and tool testing procedures.
  • Collect on-net signatures for network security devices.
  • Identify those signatures that are unique to a particular device.
  • Provide written reports on results of evaluations.
