About The Position

Regal Rexnord Cleveland, home of our Nook Brand, is currently seeking an experienced 2nd shift CNC Turning Machinist. Pay Range of $28.50/hour to $32.50/hour based on experience with overtime opportunities. As a CNC Turning Machinist, your mission is to produce quality machined components by setting up and operating CNC equipment while maintaining safety, quality, and production standards. Requirements

  • 3+ years of CNC machining experience, including setup and operation of CNC turning equipment.
  • Effective communicator who follows written and verbal directions and contributes well to a team environment.
  • High school diploma or GED; strong math and blueprint‑reading skills.
  • Ability to read and utilize measuring equipment, including micrometers, calipers, and other basic measuring devices.
  • Working knowledge of surface footage, feed rates, and calculating feeds and speeds.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate CNC lathe machinery while adhering to production standards and ISO 9001 guidelines.
  • Interpret drawings, specifications, process sheets, program readouts, shop orders, route sheets, diagrams, and instructions to plan work and determine proper operation sequences.
  • Obtain tooling from the tool crib, select holders, mount and secure tooling, verify tool accuracy, and perform the calculations necessary to make offsets and tool compensation adjustments.
  • Inspect parts to print, identify defects, and deburr components as necessary using measuring equipment such as micrometers and calipers.
