About The Position

Regal Rexnord Cleveland, home of our Nook Brand, is currently seeking an experienced 1st shift CNC Turning Machinist. As a CNC Turning Machinist, your mission is to produce quality machined components by setting up and operating CNC equipment while maintaining safety, quality, and production standards. Requirements

3+ years of CNC machining experience, including setup and operation of CNC turning equipment.
Effective communicator who follows written and verbal directions and contributes well to a team environment.
High school diploma or GED; strong math and blueprint‑reading skills.
Ability to read and utilize measuring equipment, including micrometers, calipers, and other basic measuring devices.
Working knowledge of surface footage, feed rates, and calculating feeds and speeds.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC lathe machinery while adhering to production standards and ISO 9001 guidelines.
Interpret drawings, specifications, process sheets, program readouts, shop orders, route sheets, diagrams, and instructions to plan work and determine proper operation sequences.
Obtain tooling from the tool crib, select holders, mount and secure tooling, verify tool accuracy, and perform the calculations necessary to make offsets and tool compensation adjustments.
Inspect parts to print, identify defects, and deburr components as necessary using measuring equipment such as micrometers and calipers.
