CNC Turning Machinist (2nd Shift Mon-Thurs)

About The Position

This position is 2nd shift working four 10 hour shifts - Monday through Thursday 3:00pm - 1:00am. There may be an additional mid-shift option available. Employees typically have overtime available on Fridays for partial shift. This position is eligible for $2.00 per hour shift differential. The primary objectives are responsible for the quality of parts manufactured in a timely manner and responsible for daily manufacturing of work in adherence to the quality management system.

Requirements

• Ability to setup and run various programs on machine tools
• Ability to multi‐task, prioritize and manage time effectively
• Comfortable using various computer software
• Ability to use and read measuring equipment
• Ability to lift 50 pounds throughout the day
• Good verbal and written communication skills

Nice To Haves

• Machining experience in a related industry preferred
• Machine tool technology degree (2‐yr) preferred
• Strong math and mechanical aptitude preferred

Responsibilities

• Manufacturing products to print using various manual and CNC machine tools
• Responsible for manufacturing of parts
• Inspection of parts
• Following safety procedures
• Correct documentation (timekeeping, BOM’s, prints, etc.)
• Other duties as assigned such as general maintenance, housekeeping, etc.
