This role is responsible for the maintenance, setup, and preventative care of CNC machinery and precision equipment, including tube mills, fin presses, form rolling machines, benders, and the embossing mill. The primary goals are to ensure uptime and reliability of equipment. This involves troubleshooting mechanical equipment, performing preventive maintenance, and executing work orders according to specifications. The technician will also be involved in general facilities maintenance, coordinating with external suppliers, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives for PM instructions and schedules. Troubleshooting of hydraulics, electronics, software, electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems is a key part of the role. Additionally, the technician will participate in 6S activities, capital equipment project launches, training, and documentation of completed work. They are expected to report near misses and accidents and assist with investigations. Periodic adjustment of working hours may be necessary depending on workload, and hands-on direct labor may be required. Maintaining positive and professional behavior and owning equipment efficiently are paramount.
