About The Position

HiFyve is hiring a CNC Team Leader for the 2nd shift in the Material Handling Manufacturing industry in Franklin, IN. This role involves leading the daily operations of the CNC machining and production team, ensuring safety, quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction. The position requires performing CNC tool setups, troubleshooting machines, conducting quality inspections, monitoring production, and coordinating with management to resolve issues. The Team Leader will also perform preventative maintenance, train and support team members, and fill in across departmental processes as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous CNC machining experience required.
• Experience operating, troubleshooting, and setting up CNC equipment.
• Prior experience leading or training employees in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and use precision measuring instruments.
• Strong troubleshooting, decision-making, and mathematical skills.
• Experience using hand, pneumatic, and power tools.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain on your feet throughout the shift.
• Reliable attendance and willingness to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead the daily operation of the CNC machining and production team to ensure safety, quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction are achieved.
• Perform CNC tool setups, tool changes, and offset adjustments to support efficient production.
• Troubleshoot CNC machines and respond to production issues by identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
• Conduct required quality inspections using gauges, calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring equipment.
• Monitor production output, record process data, and ensure daily production goals are met.
• Coordinate with the Production Manager and Quality team to resolve production and quality-related concerns.
• Perform preventative maintenance activities and inspect fixtures and equipment to minimize downtime.
• Train, coach, and support team members while maintaining accountability for performance and adherence to company standards.
• Fill in across departmental processes as needed to support staffing requirements and production demands.
