CNC Swiss Lathe Machinist

Requirements
- Dependable
- Blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge
- Ability to make offsets to meet print tolerances
- Ability to change tools in an efficient manner
- Use of micrometers, calipers and optical comparators
- Ability to follow quality procedures
- Basic computer and math skills
- Knowledge of removing burrs
- Three (3) plus years of experience
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time
- 20/20 vision with correction
Nice To Haves
- Set up Star ST38, SV32, SR32 and SR20
- Use of Fanuc Controls
- Use of Partmaker or Gibbs Cam
- Use of Keyence, ECAD and Zeiss CT scanner
- Knowledge of Trig and Geometry
- Experience with Medical components
Responsibilities
- Operate Swiss Style CNC machines
- Read blueprints and understand GD&T
- Make offsets to meet print tolerances
- Change tools efficiently
- Use micrometers, calipers, and optical comparators
- Follow quality procedures
- Remove burrs
- Troubleshoot machining processes and machines
- Operate multiple machines
- Stand, twist, bend, squat, stoop, kneel, climb ladders and stairs, and lift on a continuous basis for an 8-hour workday.
